I heard about World Child Cancer from a friend and decided I wanted to fundraise for them. People in the UK are very lucky with the resources we have in this country and it’s very easy to forget that people in other countries aren’t as lucky as us. I decided to do something different to engage my customers and the local community. We covered the entire gallery in A3 paper and with the help of local artist Sam Cox, otherwise known as ‘The Doodle Man’ the Doodle Marathon was born. 48 hours of doodling later we caught the attention of the local press and media. Each section of the doodled gallery was sliced into A3 sections and sold at £10 per sheet, some of which are still available, which has raised £1500 and counting for Wold Child Cancer
